LGCS Families:

It has been a great summer of Magic softball with Magic teams performing extremely well and overall winning multiple championships this summer!  Now that the summer season has wrapped, and a much deserved break before school starts, it is time to start thinking about the Fall Magic Season and registration for the Fall season is well underway with evaluations planned in the next 2 weeks so get your player Registered Now!!

Fall Magic is competitive travel ball, similar to summer Magic, in which teams predominantly play in weekend tournaments with occasional friendlies scattered in as well.  The Fall season typically starts at the beginning of September and runs into the first week of November depending on the tournament schedule each team settles on.  The primary difference between Fall Magic and Summer Magic is the age cutoff shifts for second year players.  For the Fall Season, players who are in their second year at any given age level play up to the next age group in order to gain experience and prepare for playing at that age level in Spring/Summer next year.  Given that, the birth year cutoffs for Fall are as follows:

2010 and 2011 Birthdays – 12U Fall Magic

2012 and 2013 Birthdays – 10U Fall Magic

2014 and younger – 8U Fall Magic

The Fall season is always a lot of fun for the girls as they continue to develop as players and build on their progress from Summer.  Fall also has some great tournaments, including the Halloween tournaments where players and coaches wear costumes for the tournament, so don’t miss out on another great season!  Links to registration are as follows:
