  1. Opening Day Fall Rec League Season 2014

    • Join us for an exciting new fall fastpitch rec league. This new fall program emphasizes introduction and development for younger players that are new to the game or have just a few years of softball experience. The fall league will play only 1 game per week (on Sunday afternoons). There will be limited team practices but the girls will gain a lot from their continued play. Invite your friends as we'll build teams around friend requests and school classmates. Have fun and play ball!

    • An annual fastpitch softball tradition that brings teams from all over Northern California to play dynamic, tournament ball. 2014 Alexis Briski Memorial Tournament Summary and Thank You!

Thank you to all 62 teams and our terrific group of adult and player volunteers that participated in the 2014 Alexis Briski Memorial Tournament on October 11th-12th. We hope everyone had a fun and exciting weekend of fastpitch softball. This annual event funds scholarships awarded to deserving high school seniors who have played in our program. LGCS Spring Rec League 2015 - Registration Opens Online Nov 1st

LGCS Girls Softball announces the opening of Spring 2015 rec league fastpitch softball. Register online here beginning November, 1st.  Teams will be formed in January with practices starting in early February.  Join in the fun and encourage all your friends and classmates to play, learning together about the action and thrills of fastpitch softball!  Click on Registration link to sign up online starting November 1st.

Magic 10U Teams Meet at Incline Lake Tahoe Event

An epic Magic v. Magic 10U division game was played at Tahoe with all the players and families coming together for a special event in an amazing location. Fun, lasting memories for all the Magic.









Magic 12B Wins Incline Village Tahoe Final

Magic 12B won 3 terrific games, including the championship final over the NorCal champs that ended during a downpour of rain, at Lake Tahoe on Sunday 7/20. This team continues to play really well, creating lots of wonderful memories throughout the summer season. Next stop is Western Nationals!

Magic 14B Silver Finalists at Pleasant Hill Tournament

Magic 14B Silver completed a tremendous run of strong play with a tournament championship finals appearance at Pleasant Hill. The excitement included a defeat of the NorCal champs via international tie-break in the semi-finals 3-2.  Congratulations to all the players and coaches for their fantastic performances all weekend!

Magic 14B Black Finalists at Manteca Top Gun Tournament

Magic 14B Black completed a stellar weekend of softball in Manteca at the Big League of Dreams Park, finishing in the championship finals of their division. The girls wrapped up this action packed tune up and next head off the beautiful Lake Tahoe as they prepare for Western Nationals in Roseville later this month.










Magic 12C Reach Championship Final at California State Games

Magic 12C played a pair of tremendous games on Saturday, winning both to move their record to 4-0 and advance to the championship final.  The girls of 12C played well in the final, wrapping up an exciting tournament by finishing in second place in San Diego. Great effort and play from the ladies of Magic 12C shown here with their medals!

Magic 10B Champions at Carmel Summer Classic

Magic 10B had a fantastic weekend in Carmel, winning 6 straight games and taking home the championship title. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families for another terrific tournament.

Magic 10B Finalist at NorCal ASA Championship

Magic 10B reached the NorCal ASA Championship final for a second consecutive year! The girls played tremendous softball and finished 2nd overall and advance to Nationals.  Super job girls and coaches and continued success this summer.









Magic 12B Finish Top 4 at NorCal ASA Championship

A tremendous run on Sunday, winning 3 straight games enabled the Magic 12B team to place 4th overall in the field of 20 teams and qualify for ASA Nationals.  The 12B girls won 5 exciting games over the long weekend and move on to Roseville, CA in late July for Nationals.

Magic 12C Place 5th at NorCal ASA Championship

Battling top quality competition and a deep tournament field, Magic 12C placed top 5 at the NorCal Championship, qualifying the team for Nationals at the California State Games in San Diego. Have a fantastic trip to San Diego in July!

Magic 14B Black Finish 4th at NorCal ASA Championship

Congratulations to Magic 14B for competing well and achieving the team's 4th place finish at the ASA NorCal Championship.  The strong play at Twin Creeks completes a run of several strong performances including 14A tournaments, and the team will now go on the road to Lake Tahoe and then 14B Western Nationals in Medford, OR in late July. Good luck ladies of 14B! 

Magic 10C Celebrate in Manteca 

Congratulations to Magic 10C teams for their terrific weekend in Manteca.  One of our 10C teams played in the finals and all the players did a fantastic job playing in the Manteca sunshine at Big League Dreams.









Magic 12B Team Finalist in Burlingame Tournament 

Congratulations to Magic 12B for their run to the championship game in Burlingame. Magic 12B reached a tournament final for the 3rd consecutive weekend. Down 8-1 the girls of 12B came storming back only to end up a run short with the final score of 10-9.  Great play all weekend girls of 12B. 


Magic 10B Play in Bagby Championship Final

Congratulations to the Magic 10B team on their 2nd place finish at the Bagby tournament.  Against top flight competition the 10B team played terrific softball this weekend and battled through a strong bracket to reach the finals.  


Magic 12B Win Thrilling Final in Arroyo Grande 

Congratulations to Magic 12B for their championship at the Arroyo Grande "Beat the Heat" tournament.  Magic 12B went 5-0 over the weekend, including a stunning 3-run come from behind victory in extra innings to win the title.  Terrific play, effort, and determination from all the players made for a very memorable event!


Magic 16B Team Champions in Hayward Tournament 

Congratulations to Magic 16B for their championship in Hayward, winning the final in an exciting 7-6 result over a very good team from Santa Maria.  Magic 16B went 3-1-1 on the weekend, including a fantastic 6-5 win over All-Out Softball scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the final frame.

Magic 14B Black Team Win Championship in Scotts Valley

Congratulations to the Magic 14B Black team for an impressive championship finish at the Alvin Scarborough tournament on May 31st-June 1st. The team never trailed in a game and outscored opponents 57-16 with 67 hits over the weekend. Thanks to the Scotts Valley Trouble for hosting the event as everyone had a terrific time.









Magic 12B Team Finalist in Hayward 12A Tournament

Congratulations to Magic 12B for a fantastic tournament result playing in the 12A division of the Hayward tournament.  The team went 4-2 and was leading much of championship final, battling to a 2nd place finish.  Playing well in all facets of the game, the team's strong finish has them confident heading to Arroyo Grande for a tournament in the San Luis Obispo area.  Good luck Magic 12B and continued success!


Magic 10B Team Champions in Livermore Tournament Memorial Weekend 

Congratulations to the Magic 10B on an exciting 7th inning rally to win the tournament in Livermore over Memorial Day weekend.  Magic 10B went 5-0 to take the title in Livermore.  Magic teams at the 12U and 14U levels also started their summer action with strong play and excellent results.  Continued fun and success to all the players, coaches, and families.  Go Magic!
