Things to note:
1. We need lots of helping hands to make this a special day for our players. Volunteer opportunities to run stations and sell items are within the sign up form here. Keep in mind, 8U-14U families committed 6 volunteer hours and 6U families 3 hours, so this is a great way to get some volunteer hours completed.
We are in special need of volunteers for the braiding station,if you or someone you know is great at French style braids, please sign up for the station. The girls love this activity and we want to accommodate all of them!
2. Fun Activities & Food
-
Dunk your coach! Directly following your game, players get the chance to soak their coach in the dunk tank. Tickets to play will be available for purchase at the snack shack.
-
Back by popular demand- the DIY Pin Decorating Station where Girls can decorate clothespins and trade/clip them onto teammates’ backpacks to celebrate softball and build team spirit.
-
Face Painting by the best face painter in the Bay Area!
-
An inflatable Slip N’ Slide will be set up for an after-game cool down. Don’t forget swim suits, towels, and sandals!
-
Food Trucks open at 11. Grab a delicious taco or crunchwrap and refreshing Kona Ice.
-
LGCS head to toe – buy your limited-edition LGCS swag including hats, sweatshirts, shirts, and croc charms!
3. Parking – Parking will be busier than usual. There is a second parking lot at the school located off of Seaton Ave. From Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road turn onto Verde Vista Lane, left on Woodward Ave, Left on Seaton Ave. You can also park in the neighborhood in and around Seaton Ave.
4. Equipment Swap – Have helmets, bats, gloves, pants, bags, or catching gear your daughter has outgrown? LGCS would love to give it a second life! Clean out those garages and bring your gently used equipment to pass along to others or pick up anything your player may need — no trade required – you don’t have to bring gear to take gear.
We are so excited to celebrate the sport of softball with our players and families!
